What is Nutritional Therapy?
Nutritional therapists work with individuals to alleviate and prevent ailments by making dietary recommendations. Our focus is on the belief that there are nutritional and biochemical imbalances in the body that lead to ill health. We make recommendations to restore balance, which may include guidance on avoiding certain toxins and allergens, detoxification and the use of supplementary nutrients such as individualized professional grade supplementation.
Nutritional therapy can be used for people with chronic health conditions or those who want to improve their general health and lifestyle. Amy believes the most lasting changes happen with small practical steps to complete wellness. Nutritional Therapy is classed as a complementary medicine and may be used alongside conventional treatment. Our nutritional therapist has contact with other healthcare professionals to insure the best recommendations for you. From fine tuning your nutrition to looking to do complete lifestyle change everyone can benefit from a nutrition consultation.
Nutritional therapists work with individuals. We are all different, and what works for one person might not work for another. Before offering solutions, our nutritional therapist will analyze your situation. Your initial paperwork will give a good snapshot of your health so that a unique diet plan based on your unique conditions can be created.
