Our doctors are trained in various chiropractic techniques, and use a combination of techniques and therapies to best suites each patient's needs and preferences.

General Chiropractic Care

A very safe, specific, controlled force applied to a joint to restore proper function and mobility. Accidents, falls, stress or overexertion can negatively impact your spine or other joints. These changes impact tissues, the nervous system and other areas of the body. Left unresolved, this can make you more susceptible to chronic problems. Chiropractic adjustments reduce pain, increase movement and improve performance.

Prenatal Chiropractic Care

prenatal chiropractic care

We love serving our mothers through their individual pregnancies. Chiropractic care is safe and very beneficial for pregnant women. Alternative (low impact) adjusting methods, pillows, and padding are used to ensure safety and comfort of the mother and child.  We recommend women to begin chiropractic care at the beginning of pregnancy to encourage proper posture, pelvis alignment, and prevent back pain commonly experienced throughout pregnancy.

Dr Southall is certified in Webster Technique and has extensive experience treating and caring for mothers to be. Webster Technique is used as a safe means to restore the pelvis balance and function especially during pregnancy. This specific sacrum analysis is used to determine sacroiliac (SI) joint dysfunction and sacral misalignments.  These misalignments are common in pregnancy due to postural changes, weight gain, and hormonal changes. The goal of treatment is to remove the sacral misalignments/ subluxations and remove the tension and torsion on the pelvis.

Pediatric Chiropractic Care

A child at any age can benefit from care. We see children as early as few days old.  Pediatric chiropractic treatment is much different than that for adults and appointments are much shorter. The adjustments are much softer, gentler and commonly require no more than fingertip pressure. The adjustments are comfortable, completely safe, and most children enjoy it.  In most cases we use an Activator tool to adjust little ones to ensure a light force, specific adjustment.

We also offer discounted treatment for children that come in with their parents!

We offer a variety of passive and active therapy modalities to best treat our patients quickly and effectively.  Therapies include heat/cold therapy, electrical muscle stimulation therapy, ultrasound, Graston (instrument assisted myofascial treatment), myofascial release, kinesiotaping, and flexion/distraction.

Spinal Decompression

Non surgical decompression therapy uses a motorized/computer generated traction to treat both neck and lower back injuries including disc bulges, disc herniations, and radiating pain/numbness/tingling in arms and legs.  The purpose of decompression is to take pressure off the spinal discs creating a negative pressure. As a result, bulging or herniated discs can potentially retract and take pressure of the spinal nerves. The gentle traction promotes healing of the spinal disc.
